My Favorite Chicago Spots: Brunch

Looking for the best brunch in Chicago? Well, I can’t promise to be a brunch expert, but I can show you some of my favorites! Nothing is better than waking up after a quiet Friday night, ready to start the weekend with a delicious breakfast and (of course) a bloody Mary.

Be sure to tell me in the comments what your favorite is so I can check it out!

I turned to my trusty archive of Instagram photos to recall some of my favorite spots. So here they are, in no particular order, the best brunch restaurants in Chicago according to Jordan.

Longman and Eagle

Longman & Eagle – Don’t worry if the wait is long, you can go in the back for mimosas and donuts! The wait is well worth this amazing chicken and waffles with pork belly hash. YUM.

GLAZED AND INFUSED. Best. Donuts. Ever. Bacon Maple all the way.

Homeslice. Well, I love Homeslice no matter what time of day, but their amazing porch plus bloody Marys that come garnished with cold pizza – how could you go wrong?!

Zella’s. Although it’s not known for its food, Zella’s is known for its affordable all you can drink special. Good times.

Trellis. A bloody Mary garnished with a crab claw? I mean, come on.

Crosby’s Kitchen. Simply great food, great outdoor seating area, great crowd.

Zed 451. Dat rooftop, doe. Amazing seating areas on their rooftop with fancy drinks and great small plates.

La Columbe – One of my favorite coffee shops in the West Loop. Great coffee, but they don’t have a menu, so if you want to avoid looking like a food (ahem, like me) just order anything you would order at a Starbucks. Ha.

Not pictured: Batter & Berries. Probably the best brunch food I’ve had in the city – not pictured because I was too busy inhaling it.

Stay tuned for the next edition of My Favorite Chicago Spots – dinner, lunch, drinks, and dessert editions. Yay for food.
