A sweet white sangria recipe that’s easy to make and super refreshing in the summer! Strawberry Peach Sangria is the perfect way to use up fresh peaches.
If I didn’t love Chicago so much, I’d move to North Carolina in a heartbeat. During a trip to visit my family in NC, we visited a peach and apple farm in the mountains, along with a local winery that made their wine completely from local grapes! Since we returned home with an entire peck of peaches and 9 bottles of wine, we pretty much had no choice but to make a delicious Strawberry Peach Sangria.
Making homemade sangria is super easy and the perfect refreshing drink during the summer. Especially if you have delicious, local peaches available, this is like dessert in a wine glass. Plus, it’s super easy to make!
Just take your favorite white wine, add some Sprite, lemonade, peaches, strawberries, and vodka if you’re feeling crazy, and voila! You have a pitcher of heavenly Strawberry Peach Sangria ready to serve at a party or family dinner.
We picked a peck of peaches! Say that 5 times fast. Okay, no don’t … you’d probably spit on someone.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle dry or semi sweet white wine
- 1 1/2 cups strawberries, sliced
- 2-3 large peaches, sliced
- 1 cup peach liqueur
- 1/2 liter Sprite
- 1/2 can frozen lemonade concentrate
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in a large pitcher. Let mixture stand at room temperature at least 2 hours, or refrigerate at least 4 ours.
- Serve over ice and be sure to scoop some fruit into the glasses.
Note: This sangria is quite sweet. If you’d like it to be less sweet, I’d recommend leaving out the peach liqueur. If you do, I would add a little bit of vodka … for good times. Or maybe that’s just me.
