4-Ingredient Death by Chocolate Bars

Chooocccooollaaattteeeee.

It’s currently 8 a.m. and I could eat one of these 4-Ingredient Death by Chocolate Bars right now.

Talk about the perfect easy Christmas dessert. These only take four simple ingredients and they make enough bars to feed a hungry Christmas crowd. Take these to your holiday party this year and you’ll definitely be the star of the party. You can also change up the candy on top to fit different tastes and times of year.

4-Ingredient Death by Chocolate Bars

Either way you should probably run to your kitchen and make these 4-Ingredient Death by Chocolate Bars. I can’t take credit for this recipe because my wonderful mom made it! But from what I’ve heard … these chocolate chip cookie bars are good. Like, really really go-back-for-a-fourth-one good.

You’ve been warned.

Ingredients

  • 1 30oz package refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 package milk chocolate chips
  • 2 packages mini Snicker's, chopped into chunks
  • Festive colored M&M's (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 15x10-inch baking sheet with cooking spray. Press cookie dough into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 15 minutes, remove and cool slightly.
  2. Combine sweetened condensed milk with chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Heat for 30 seconds, stir, and heat an additional 30 seconds until smooth and creamy. Spread evenly over baked cookie bars.
  3. Top immediately with Snicker's and M&M's. Refrigerate until fudge layer sets up (about 2 hours, or overnight).
  4. Store in airtight container.
