Does anyone else have a serious addiction to meatballs?

My mother is probably shaking her head right now because she used to make meatballs for dinner all the time and I hated them.

Now that I’m all growed up, meatballs are one of my favorite foods to make for lunches!

These Asian Glazed Turkey Meatballs are extra special because they have an amazing hoisin glaze that will have you licking your plate.

What’s even better, this recipe is as easy as forming the meatballs, baking, giving the sauce a quick nuke, and combining the two!

I like to enjoy these Asian Glazed Meatballs over a bed of brown rice, but you can also eat them with quinoa, plain, or in lettuce wraps!

No matter how you choose to enjoy these balls of delight, I’m almost positive you’ll make this recipe a regular in your house.

Ingredients

  • Meatballs:
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon onion flakes
  • 1 egg
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced, plus more for garnish
  • Glaze:
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Mix all the meatball ingredients together in a medium bowl until incorporated.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Use your hands to form about 18 meatballs. Place the meatballs on the baking sheet and bake until cooked through - about 15-18 minutes.
  3. When the meatballs are done, mix the glaze ingredients (minus the sesame seeds) together in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour the glaze over the meatballs. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion. Serve over rice or as desired.

    This recipe was so amazing and easy! We all loved it. I didn't change anything but I did double the sauce! Thank you.
