These Berry Mimosa Smoothies are a super fun drink to make for Easter or Mother’s Day brunch! The addition of berries and yogurt to standard mimosas creates a frothy, creamy drink.

Ohhh lawd, do I love me some mimosas. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know that one of my all-time favorite pasttimes is brunching in Chicago.
Particularly, I love brunches that include bottomless mimosas. (I even created this list of my favorites once).
With the Easter and Mother’s Day holidays coming up, I already have my brunch menu planned: This amazing quiche + homemade scones (so easy to make … I’m whipping up both sweet and savory). Of course, it wouldn’t be brunch without mimosas! I thought it would be a good idea to experiment with stepping up my own mimosa game a bit.
Enter: Berry Mimosa Smoothies. Adding vanilla yogurt and fresh berries to mimosas give them more of a thick consistency and super creamy, delicious taste.

I tried these smoothies with blueberries only, strawberries only, and a combination of both fruits. The verdict: strawberry won it all for me!
You can pretty much use any fruit you have on hand – Berry Mimosa Smoothies would be amazing with mango, peaches, pineapple, watermelon … you name it.
I recommend choosing a sweeter fruit to offset the tartness of the yogurt and champagne. I also recommend using a sweeter yogurt (I used my favorite Siggi’s yogurt and thought it was a bit too tart).
I also tried making this smoothie recipe with and without ice, and I actually preferred these with no ice at all. If you prefer a supercold and thicker smoothie, add all the ice you want and blend away.
Cheers to Eater bunnies, moms and brunch!
