Ingredients

Bacon Breakfast Pizza

  • 1 whole wheat pizza crust
  • 8 slices Wright® Brand Hickory Smoked Bacon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 chives, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

Bacon, Mushroom and Goat Cheese Breakfast Pizza

  • 1 whole wheat pizza crust
  • 8 slices Wright® Brand Hickory Smoked Bacon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 5 ounces crumbled goat cheese
  • 1.5 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup arugula
  • 3 green onions, chopped

Instructions

Bacon Breakfast Pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place bacon in a single layer. Bake for about 20 minutes or until crispy.
  2. Carefully remove bacon from the oven and transfer it with tongs to a paper-towel lined plate. Cut or crumble into pieces.
  3. While the bacon cooks, combine olive oil with garlic and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Brush the pizza crust with the oil mixture.
  4. Top crust with crumbled bacon and shredded cheese. Push the ingredients aside to create three holes for the eggs.
  5. Carefully crack the eggs onto the pizza crust. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the eggs are set to your liking.
  6. Remove pizza from oven and top with chives and cherry tomatoes. Slice and serve!

Notes

To make both pizzas at the same time for a party, bake 16 slices of bacon in the oven at the same time. Combine 1/4 cup olive oil with 2 cloves garlic and salt and pepper to taste. Brush both pizza crusts with the olive oil mixture. Continue with toppings as instructed.
