3-Ingredient Prosciutto Pinwheels

These 3-Ingredient Prosciutto Pinwheels are the perfect easy and freezer-friendly appetizer for the holidays or anytime!

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/4 cup sweet hot mustard or dijon mustard (optional ... it tastes good with or without!)
  • 4 ounces sliced prosciutto
  • 3/4 cup Gruyere or Parmesan cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Place puff pastry flat on a work surface and spread with mustard.
  2. Arrange prosciutto on top, then sprinkle with cheese. Roll up the pastry jelly roll style, starting at the long edge.
  3. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 3 hours or up to 2 days until firm.
  4. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  5. Cut the log into 1/2 inch thick slices. Arrange the pinwheels on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake about 16 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.

Notes

To freeze, completely cool pinwheels and store in an air-tight container. Reheat in a 400-degree oven until hot.
