These 3-Ingredient Prosciutto Pinwheels are the perfect quick, easy and freezer-friendly appetizer for the holidays or anytime!
Since Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, I’ve never been one to start thinking about Christmas until after Thanksgiving.
For some reason, this year I’m starting to get so excited for the holidays early! I’ve already started decorating and watching Hallmark movies. Who am I?!
Whether you’re looking forward to Christmas or planning your Thanksgiving menu, these Prosciutto Pinwheels are the perfect easy appetizer to make for entertaining.
I first learned about this recipe from my step mom who makes them all the time.
She always mentioned how great they are because they’re a freezer friendly appetizer recipe that only requires 3 ingredients!
All it takes is a puff pastry, Gruyere cheese and prosciutto to make these delicious bites. If you want to make them extra special, spread some mustard on the pastry before adding the other ingredients. They’re good with or without the mustard!
Feel free to also use Parmesan cheese instead of Gruyere.
The best part about these Prosciutto Pinwheels is that they’re super easy to make ahead.
You can wrap and store the pastry log in the refrigerator for days before your party, then cut and bake when you’re ready to enjoy. You can also freeze the baked pinwheels after they cool in an air tight container.
To reheat after frozen, just throw them in the oven at 400 degrees F until they’re hot!
