This quick and easy recipe for Prosciutto and Parmesan Baked Asparagus will transform asparagus-haters … it’s that good!
Ahhhhhh-sparagus. It’s just so good. Especially when you cover it with prosciutto and Parmesan cheese. AmIRight?!
I actually can’t take credit for this recipe for Prosciutto and Parmesan Baked Asparagus because my sister dreamed it up and made it for me, but it was just such a beautiful work of art that I knew I had to share this one with the world.
I mean, what’s better than some Italian meats and cheeses to make your vegetables fun to eat?
My sister, mom and I went strawberry picking in North Carolina and just had to grab a bunch of local asparagus as well. This might be my favorite new preparation of the beloved spring veggie. So cheesy and delicious … I could probably eat this whole pan just to myself.
I would suggest just guesstimating on the amounts – use your judgement. If you want to throw on an extra handful of cheese, by golly be my guest. You may also substitute bacon for the prosciutto as a budget-friendlier option.
Next time you want a fancy yet super simple side dish recipe to make, throw this Prosciutto and Parmesan Baked Asparagus in the oven.
