These Bacon Goat Cheese Burgers with Fig Jam are the perfect summer grilling recipe, made with Treasure Cave® Goat Cheese.

It’s finally almost summer! Which means it’s finally almost my favorite season: grilling season.

I grew up spending summer nights grilling outside with friends and family, and learned very early on that grilled meats are one of my all-time favorite foods.

These Bacon Goat Cheese Burgers with Fig Jam are an extra special creation to me because they combine a few of my favorite things: grilled burgers, bacon, goat cheese and fig jam. However, Treasure Cave® has a variety of amazing cheese products that you could also try for this recipe, like Blue Cheese and Feta Cheese!

The cheese I used to make these burgers extra special is Treasure Cave® Goat Cheese from my local Albertson’s Families of Stores. I absolutely love goat cheese in eggs and on salads, so I knew I would love it on these burgers. Treasure Cave®’s Goat Cheese is produced with quality goat milk to create a mild, salty cheese with a soft texture—making it the perfect addition to many meals!

You may think fig jam is a strange addition to a savory cheeseburger, but trust me on this! The combination of goat cheese and fig jam is one of my favorite combinations ever, and it tastes amazing in combination with the bacon.

The best thing about grilling dinner is that you don’t make a mess inside, and they take under 10 minutes to grill.

I cook the bacon while the burgers grill and get everything prepared ahead of time so I can quickly assemble the burgers as soon as they’re done.

You can choose to sprinkle the goat cheese on while the burgers are on the grill or after you take them off during assembly. I have found that both ways work!

These Bacon Goat Cheese Burgers would be the perfect meal to serve at a summer party or for family dinner night when you want to mix things up. They taste like a gourmet burger you would order at a restaurant, right at home!

Next time you’re looking for a delicious grilling recipe to mix things up, give these Bacon Goat Cheese Burgers with Fig Jam a try. I hope you love them as much as I do.
