Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Celery Boats

These Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Celery Boats are prepared in the slow cooker and make the perfect finger food recipe for football season!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Celery Boats

Hello my people! I hope everyone had a fabulous Labor Day Weekend. LDW pretty much means summer is over. Which pretty much means it’s fall. Which definitely mean’s it’s FOOTBALL SEASON.

Is anyone else extremely excited for fall and football? I am I am I am.

When I saw this idea on Pinterest, I knew it would make an awesome appetizer for Sunday gatherings. Everyone loves buffalo chicken dip, and these Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Celery Boats are the bite-sized version of the dip … with no dipping required!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Celery Boats

First, you make the slow cooker buffalo chicken, then you shred it up and top bite-sized pieces of celery with it! Greek yogurt adds a bit of creaminess to the chicken, and blue cheese crumbles on top add a bite of flavor.

I would venture to say that these would also be great with a little cheese thrown in the mix.

This is the perfect football recipe or any party recipe because you can throw the chicken in the slow cooker in the morning, then whip up the celery boats last minute and serve! Easy peasy.
