I got to try out Kitchfix for a week, and here’s what I thought! Kitchfix is a fully prepared meal delivery service in Chicago with lots of Paleo food options and other local meals.
We all know I love making low carb “clean eating” recipes, but did you know I used to follow a paleo diet? My biggest gripe about the diet was how much time and planning it took to make all that food!
So, when I heard about Kitchfix, my first thought was that I wish I knew of it back when I was full paleo!
Kitchfix is a prepared meal delivery service in Chicago that uses fresh, often local ingredients to make super healthy meals that are ready to heat and eat!
Their menu has a variety of delicious choices that fit all kinds of dietary restrictions. And when I say healthy, I mean super-de-duper healthy. Organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, no refined sugars!
Kitchfix is the perfect solution for if you’re just getting started on a new low-carb diet, or if you have a particularly busy week. Most meals come in medium or large sizes, so you can tailor your order to your meal plan. Plus, you can choose to pick it up at a convenient Kitchfix hub or have them deliver it to your doorstep.
Let’s talk about breakfast. These paleo waffles with sausage and scrambled eggs was a highlight for me. I mean, any diet that includes waffles is a diet I can stick to. And Kitchfix’s version of good-for-you waffles is great!
They also sell paleo granola! I tried the Peaches and Pistachios flavor and it tastes as good (or better) than any granola you buy in the store. I love it on Greek yogurt, but it’s also great just as a snack right out of the bag or with some coconut milk.
Their Paleo Banana Walnut Muffins were another favorite snack I tried. They have great flavor and are naturally just sweet enough to satisfy my cravings.
Oh, and then there was Chocolate Avocado Mousse, which I paired with a Paleo Chopped Ranch Chicken Salad and Organic Power Greens Juice. If I could eat this every day for lunch, I would.
For the lunch and dinner options, I tried Honey Glazed Chicken with Bacon Guacamole. I mean … bacon guac. Enough said.
Perhaps one of my favorites of the bunch was this Shredded Paleo Beef BBQ. I’m not even crazy about barbecue but this meal was great! Their paleo BBQ was tangy and sweet and delicious.
All in all, I’m so happy to have discovered Kitchfix as a truly healthy prepared meal delivery service. I feel great about eating everything I order from them because I know it’s super good for me. Plus, their customer service is great! They even sent a text to make sure I was enjoying my first order. Major bonus points.
