Easy Mango Tuna Poke Bowls

Okay, so this recipe definitely is not your traditional poke. But it’s sorta like poke’s lazy sibling.

What makes this bowl so easy to make is that it cheats by using smoked tuna.

I have discovered something amazing and it is called Trader Joe’s Sesame Crusted Hardwood Smoked Ahi Tuna. This tuna is so packed with flavor it makes the perfect salad or bowl topper.

They also have a version called Everything But the Bagel Smoked Salmon that I haven’t tried but I bet would also be amazing.

If you don’t have access to this item, you can substitute smoked salmon or fresh tuna marinated in soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic and ginger.

Easy Mango Tuna Poke Bowls

I love these mock poke bowls because if you prep the ingredients ahead of time, they come together in just minutes!

The mango adds a bright pop of sweetness, the pickled ginger is reminiscent of a sushi roll, and the spicy mayo brings the whole thing together for a SUPER delicious and healthy bowl.
